having problems adjusting the slow speed idle...the motor will idle OK but it will cough or run slightly rough at different intervals...
I've cleaned the carb...should I get a new needle valve? the needle valve has a very slight wear line....barely noticeable. |

The tapered tip of that S/S needle valve must be perfect. If worn slightly but not to an extreme, you may be able to clamp it into an electric drill, then at high speed, hold a file to the tip to renew the original taper. |
