Hi, i am new to this forum.
I would like some input on these engines from those who know.
I am in the process of buying a boat and have found a really nice boat and she is fitted with two 2006 Model 50hp Evinrude E tec engines (Blue Cowlings) The engines are just past their 3 year warranty period and have about 180 hours of running time on the clocks!
These engines are not too poular here in South Africa and i have heard some very bad reports of serious breakdowns. So i would like some input from your shores please as i believe that they are far more popular there!
Can you comment on problems, maintenance, performance etc etc please, this would really be appreciated!! |

If You browse the forum You will hardly find any E-tech questions about the smaller ones. The reason?
They work.
Be sure You get the manual.
Follow the oil recommendation!
Check You that You have a dealer that are updated! |
