Went fishing out at 5500 rpms. On the way back in could not exceed 4000 with throttle pinned.
What could be the problem?

this,could be absolute,numerous,problems,..u need to go about this,should u decide to try a fix,ur self,..in a methodical,way!...spark,compression,..fuel delivery..WATER in fuel??...it is rapidly,becoming an issue,way more,than any of us used to see. |

i currently have a 225 hp. ocean Pro that will not go over 2000 rpm and it will not idle under 1000 rpm. I can't get any good answers. The comp.is 90lbs consistent. Can you help |

Found out what the problem was/is. It seems a module( that's what I call it) quit. I believe it controls two of the cylinders.
As I have written I could only get 4000 rpms with thethrottle pinned.
