Does the tip look ok? Is it still usable?
(My motor 60HP 1970 Johnson dies under load).

Same kinda picture on the stator.
Please advise.

Ok. I'm sorry - I did not compose my question correctly.

The question is:
IS THE LENGTH OF THE PROTRUDING METAL PIECE STILL ACCEPTABLE OR DOES THE ROTOR NEED TO BE REPLACED SINCE THE TIP IS TOO SHORT NOW?

Yes, I did clean the tip, since it had a significant amount of deposit on it.}
