I recently purchased a 28 Johnson outboard. It was setup for a throttle control and steering console. Can I Add a tiller handle and a starter button to change for hand operation? Where can I find info on year ect. Model is J28EESLCCR with a serial # R6308146. Manuals be purchased for repairs?? Thanks for any help. |

Are you sure about that model number too many E s in there I think
J28ESLCCR would be an electric start, special, longshaft, 1988.
Look up the parts diagrams and lists at Shop.evinrude.com I see no sign of a tiller etc though. |
