Hi, I have a 56 Evinrude Sportwin 10 hp (model 10012). It leaks oil out of the gear case. I suspect the gaskets are worn-out; in particular, I suspect the gaskets in the linkage and drive-shaft. But I can't find a seal kit for the 56 (I can find seal kits for 58 and above, but not for the 56). Help. Is there a seal kit for the 56, or can I use some other year instead? I tried using Lubriplate 105 but it leaked out too. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Bob |

There are a few old E/J outboard dealers out there, you'll need to do a search on google for them, they may have seals collecting dust.
