Engine will not start using key switch choke. Cycling the manual choke on and off solves the problem. Engine will start and pushing in the key switch choke when the engine is running causes the engine speed to slow as it should. Engine will restart for a day or so. After that it will require at flipping of the manual choke to start the engine. Bad solanoid? |

Solenoid possibly, you should hear it click when pressing the key. Bad connection somewhere, on switch even, if you dont. Check the electrics first ... make sure there is always power to the solenoid when the key is pressed. If electrics OK primer in need of overhaul I guess. It should always be possible to start with the lever in the "manual" position |
