25 johnson idles find,but dies when you open up throttle,can this be a adjustment problem? |

You dont say what year so unable to check if there is a high speed adjustment ... probably not.
More likely the carb is in need of a stripdown and clean.
If operating the choke/primer which ever it has will keep it going it pretty much indicates a dirty carb.
If there are adjustment screws on the carb then JOE REEVES' INSTRUCTIONS will walk you through it |
