HI...newbe here.
I just purchased a 1988 15 hp johnson and it has no carb. Could someone tell me what carb will fit this engine? Or will I need to get a carb for this year to work properly?

Any E/J carb for a 15-20hp should work fine, you can check the part number for the one you need and see what years + - are the same. It's usually a range of years, say 83-88 or 87-89 etc..
Could even be the same as a carb from a 30 or 40hp .. |

i'm afraid,a 20 wont wk...too lg in sev areas..u need a 15hp carb. |
