My '77 70HP used wanted to turn the sterring wheel (single cable steering) so I fitted a NFB telex helm. Under power, turning the wheel one way is easier than the other. I read something recently about adjusting the trim tab (ie the "fin" under the caviation plate). Any advise would be welcome, thanks |

Always turn the trim tab in the direction of the pulling..... a very small amount at a time, about 1/8" movement. |
