1986 johnson J90tlcdc spark is weak less then 7/16 Happens on low end. go wot and after a while it kick in then drops it. power pack or coils. ty for any help. |

Check the pin/socket rubber connectors, They can back out somewhat resulting in poor connections.
Look at the stator under the flywheel. If a substance is dripping down from it on the powerhead, replace it. This type problem (leaking/dripping) results in weak, erratic, and eventually no ignition.
