I've noticed some corrosion on the foot on the starboard side at the joint where the foot is mounted to the motor. The zincs are all in good condition and the motor is used in brackish to fresh water. Any ideas on stopping the corrosion from continuing?
Thanks

Well, that doesn't appear to be the culprit. I checked continuity from the anode by the cavitation plate to the gearcase and other various points (bonding wires, etc) on the motor and from the anodes on the transom to the anode by the cavitation plate and there was perfect continuity between the one on the starboard side of the transom with the anode by the cavitation plate but on the port side transom anode, the meter only went up half way when I checked it with the cavitation plate anode.
Any significance there?
