on my 90 motor the horn is mounted in the center console
how do you check to see if it works
is there one test to check for low oil and overheat or do you need to do something different

The horn should beep momentarily when you turn the key on. If it does, then obviously the horn is okay. You can manually test the horn simply by having the key in the ON position, then grounding out one of the TAN overheat sensor wires that protrudes out of the cylinder heads. This should make the horn sound off.
The test, if it exists, for low oil or overheat, I'll leave to someone else. |

It does not beep when the key is on, I will check the tan wires and ground them.
