Thanks Joe Reeves...
I still don't understand something. At the top of the water pump are two holes. Through one, I can see the rubber impellor. Is that the one that sends the water to cool the engine? And is the other the return? Somewhere in this circulating system, is there a thermostat that may need to be changed?

Since you didn't stick to the original thread, I have no idea what I may have said previously.
However, yes, if a two tube system, one is the outlet water pressure to the powerhead, with the other being the return until the thermostat opens. I've lost track of which one is which.
The thermostat will be found under the top small cover at the top portion of the cylinder head. |
