I need to replace the lower piston and all rings on a 76 Johnson 55 HP (55EL76E) motor. I know I need a piston and rings but I'm not sure what all other parts, gaskets, and seals I need. I don't want to spend money on parts I will not need. Does anyone know?

Get the piston and rings,head gasket, water box gasket, upper and lower crankshaft seal.
Replace the rings in both cylinders. If there is any scoreing you will have to have the block
bored and go with an oversize piston and rings.
