just corrected a water pump issue,now I have a no idle no power issue,when I pulled boat out in late nov it was running fine,fogged it,treated fuel and put it a way for winter,I just replaced plugs gaped 30,good spark all plugs,comp 105 to 120 psi,replaced fuel filter,fuel looks a little yellow so used a 5 gallon with fresh gas same thing,motor will only run when a press choke every 10 to 15 sec,I mixed in a can of sea foam to 3 gallons fuel runs alittle better but still not right,also installed a flow scan over winter,that seams tobe working fine could that cause a restriction? How can I test my vro pump pressure?I removed 1 carb,removed bowl and side cover plate, bowl and hi speed where spotless,no varnish or gum,I think the low speed is under side cover witch looks good,my motor has 6 carbs that bolt to a throttle plate,there is no adj on the carbs,1 adj screw on the plate,whats it for? i would highly recommend,..a factory,..service manual....if u have to push the choke in ,and it runs better,.......i would go directly,..to the carbs.......... |
