no water pumping after new pump...replaced with sierra full kit,droped the lower unit 3 times to inspect,impeller is keyed and can see it spinning through water exit hole,followed instructions,have enouf space to see pipe is going into pump,removed stats and water flowed when put hose on pipe,water flows to base of pump with muffs. what am I missing...THANKS |

Did you make sure that the water tube going up to the power head is clear?? Many times pieces of the old impeller will be pushed up the tube clogging it. Hope this helps. |

inst rubber bushing in pump hsng?,..your prob is w/pump kit.due to your testing of wtr tube and garden hose.-----"removed stats and water flowed when put hose on pipe,water flows to base of pump with muffs"---- see of u can shift and that prop is spinning next time...indicating,that drive shaft is in fact,turning. |

thanks JWB,found out today sierra makes 2 pumps for my motor,20 and 25 shaft,I had the short shaft pump witch has a hole drilled in the top of the housing,outher then that the housing is the same,(I have the 25 motor)hope that it, |
