I have done a compression check and came up with about 30 lbs in each cylinder. Is this good or bad? What are the specs? |

Also, Does anybody know if there is a carb kit by sierra or mallory marine that is compatible to the carb on my 1953 # rd-14 25 sea horse? Thank you!! |

30lbs is bad----- it is either a blown head gasket or a gauge mane in CHINA that is the problem. |

Both Sierra and Mallory indicate coverage for 1954-55 for their kits for that 25HP, not 1953. |

What would be considered good compression? |
