Thanks for your help. Wondering if the mounting position of fuel pump is important?. It will only mount two ways, neither of which puts the word "UP" stamped on the Sierra pump up? The way it is mounted now has the gas to carb outlet on the top, but the word up, is on the left side. If problem is vacuum/pressure related and the fuel pump gasket is good etc. does this require a overhaul, or hopefully something less extensive. This is a new motor to me, came on an old boat. Runs great on the water as long as I pump the bulb frequently. Thanks |

up....would just be relative,to position..instead of down....u can adjust the blk plastic cap for the outlet.if this is not a new pump,..repl it..make sure gasket is there and tight.,use blue locktite on screw threads. |
