i have a envirude 120hp V4 and im having problems starting it and i don't know why it takes so long to start some times
it's usual that it starts for a while and that it turns of again does any one know what might be my problem?

Are you pushing the key in while cranking and pushing it in when it falters before it warms up.

Starting procedure: pump fuel bulb up hard.

Apply a slight bit of throttle with either the throttle lever or the warm up lever.

Crank engine and push the key in at the same time. When the engine fires/starts, release the key so that it falls back to the run position.

Pushing the key in activates the choke or fuel primer solenoid, whichever the engine may have.

hello I have a 1985 140 vro evinrude when I turn the key I hear a high pitch beep from the key switch and nothing happens it don't engage the starter any help with this thanks.
