The mission of this board is to provide an easy, efficient feedback system for users to share information about marine engines and motors. Its function includes providing technical support and answering questions regarding repair and troubleshooting of all sorts of marine engines including inboard, outboard, sterndrive, gas, and diesel.

The great majority of responses to questions on this board are made by individuals who generously contribute their time to help people they have never met. In many cases those answering questions are active or retired marine professionals, but in many cases they are not. It is your responsibility as a user of this board to evaluate any answer or feedback you receive. We offer no guarantee or assurance that the information you recieve is suitable for your circumstance.

That being said, there are thousands of people who have found answers and assistance on this board and have saved time and money by accomplishing their own repairs.
