Im looking for some info or direction on this. This motor has sat up for quite some time. Tore the carb down knowing it needed gone through. the accelerator pump is driven by a rod from the throttle linkage that wraps around to the bottom of the bowl to the accelerator pump. the diaphragm is shot. I found one either here or boats.net, for $50 or somewhere thereabout. Seemed pretty steep. Anyways, would a 9.9 Yamaha fourstroke carb from this generation work as well? I am finding complete 9.9 carbs but they have a different accelerator pump design. Looking to see if anyone has ran into this issue before.
