Yamaha 50hp 2cycle problem

The motor starts and idles smoothly but I cannot get more than 1200 rpm in gear without the engine stalling. Just had the three carburetors rebuilt and a new fuel pump and filter installed. Any suggestions?
 
Did you ask for this work to be done ?-----Was there any other testing done ?----Is this a problem that started suddenly ?------What is the compression on the cylinders ?----Is there strong spark on all cylinders ?
