Yamaha 350 leaking oil

After a routine service, one of my 350 yamaha engines leaks oil for a few minutes when I turn off the ignition. I brought this to several mechanics attention. I have 1000 hours on my engines. I had a low oil pressure warning 75 hours after my last service. My mechanic told me my oil was barely low when he serviced the engine and is baffled. Any ideas?

It is hard to see, but it seems like it is coming from my lower unit. The boat is in the water, so it is difficult to see exactly where. When I had the boat serviced last, the mechanic told me the old oii was fine, with no apparent water leakage.

If your loosing lower unit oil I would strongly suggest you get the boat out of the water and check your oil level. Post #1 I thought you were thinking engine oil?

The boat is on a lift and the mechanic was able to visualize the entire engine. But the oil in the lower unit was borderline low.

Install a seal kit.

Along with Racerone suggestion, if it due, a water pump servicing also.
