Have you ever seen a problem where the XDP-B drive comes up when on plane? It seems to operate normally up and down when at the dock and slow speeds. I thought it was a trim pump issue with leaky valve (similar to the problem when a drive will drift down due to bad valve in trim pump). After replacing pump, problem still exists. I suppose it's the trimming cylinder (part 3889433) as it's the only other major component in the system.
I also removed the fuse from trim pump as I thought it was a bad switch, but that did not fix it. So it looks to be a hydraulic issue...?
Here's a video of what it looks like - the STBD drive is coming up and shooting a rooster tail.

This is the composite drive with a single trimming cylinder in the middle. It's on a 2005 Chaparral 290 Signature with 5.0 OSi-E engines.
Thanks for any ideas,
Paul
