Where is this anode?

This diagram shows the block anode inside a little box (part #40)

I cannot for the life of me locate this anode on the outdrive, and this diagram is no help.

Does anyone know where this anode actually is on the outdrive?

If you have one, it should be over the tilt piston lines, on the bottom. You may have the Mercathode System, which doesn't use the zinc. The Mercathode will be bolted right where the zinc should be.

That would explain it. There is a module where I would expect the anode to be that is roughly the same size and shape as the anode. I'm assuming that its the Mercathode. Thank you. Next time I'll buy the anodes individually.
