I've been playing with the idea of upgrading from my current '83 80hp inline 4 thunderbolt to a similar 115hp inline 6. My concern is about the above water hieght of the transom with the added weight for fishing rough water.
Does anyone know the difference in wieght between the two? I know the lower units are pretty much the same and the only major difference is an extra two cylinders stacked on top. I want to try adding some weight to the back of the boat and see how it sits before I go ahead and buy something.
