Water coming out from the pee hole is hot at low speed

I have 150 HP mariner I noticed the water comes out of the engine is very hot at low speeds.
please help.

You need to quantify "very hot" - could mean something totally different to you.

As is too hot to keep your hand under it for more than say 10 seconds without getting a scald?

Steam actually coming out of the tell-tale (have seen that)?

Is it hot on a flushing device hooked to a garden hose, test tank, in the lake????

Or just hot compared to "cold" when the rpms are higher?

It not unusual for the "P" stream to be hot on the newer Xr4/Xr6 motors as it will be about 125-140°
