Greetings, we just had our new DF90 Suzuki outboard commissioned. Still in the 10 hour break in period, so we arerunnimg low revs, 3,000. Our boat is a Eduardono panga - 23' long 8' wide open runabout fishing boat. We have noticed much more water spray from the new engine than from our old 2005 evinrude etec 75 hp. Spray in a fan out either side, plus water coming up between the motor and the transom and into the rear well. Not good. The leg length of the Suzuki is a couole of inches longer than our Evinrude, but the profile is much more modern, pointy and narrow. (The old Evinrude had a huge long torpedo like foot.) What to do? We can't have seawater gushing up into the transom!
