Volvo Penta 5.7 GXi-F full closed loop cooling installation

Hi guys,
I'm trying to find a full closed loop solution for Volvo Penta 5.7 Gxi-F. With only half kits available for Volvos I wonder what can be done to customize them for a full solution.
The engine has captain call exhaust with long risers, so those can be adapted to get raw water directly.
Challenges:
1) Need to find appropriate size heat exchanger for full closed loop. Can Merc heat exchanger be adapted?
2) Sounds like I would need to upgrade raw water pump to 30 gpm or so with output pipe diameter of 1 1/4". What options do I have? I could not locate those pumps for Volvo.
3) Need to find exhaust manifold blocking gaskets to separate closed loop from raw water getting into risers. Can Mercruiser gaskets be used? Sounds like manifolds are the same in both engines.
4) Do I need ECM tuned? Mercruiser kits require new ECM because engine with FWC operates at higher temperatures. I'm sure the same would apply to Volvo as well. Who and how can reflash the existing ECM?
5) Does anyone have a complete verified solution? I read through everything I could find on the internet and saw claims that "it can be done" but have not seen the whole project yet. Not sure why aftermarket does not have full FWC kits for Volvos.
Would greatly appreciate your input!

There is a widely held opinion that once an engine has been run in salt water for any length of time that one can never clean it out enough to convert it to closed. I would assume that this also applies to exhaust manifolds as well. When I reengined my boat I installed a new crate Mercruise 5.7MIE @ 260HP with MERCRUISER center rise manifolds for use with their dry joint elbows.... and a Sendure complete FWC kit. The raw water pump on that engine is rated @ 40 GPM @ 4000 rpm BTW and worked for the Sendur kit. Crusader uses a drive shaft driven RW pump for their complete system FWC SBC engines so I would assume that would be adaptable for you.
To sum it up..
Use Sendure Heat Exchanger for full system SBCs
Replace manifolds with MERC OEM SBCs manifolds for use with dry joint elbows.
Use MERC OEM dry joint elbows
Use the MERC OEM gaskets between the manifold and elbow and make sure you install the "turbulator" style blocking gaskets correctly.
You might have to replace the Tstat housing as well.
As to the EMC.... If you can't reflash it, perhaps you could add a resistor in series with the ECM's temp sensor to "fool" it into thinking
that 165 Degrees engine temp is 135 Degrees... The risk in this is that you might loose the ECM's ability to have an effective high temp alarm.
......TANSTAAFL :)
