Volvo 380

Engine consistently overheats, at 162°, Volvo computer shuts the engine down or reduces power. I have a Rinker 370ex, everything works great except for the Volvo engines, trying to see if anyone has any ideas.

best thing to do is get a scan tool hooked up to see what exactly is going on...the ECU typically uses a different sending unit than the gauge....
