Using an impact wrench.

When replacing a stator on an F115, for example, can I use an impact wrench to loosen the 36mm nut that holds the flywheel on.
I don't want to damage the crankshaft or any component attached to it.

Yes only to take the nut off.----Do not install the nut with your impact !----And use the correct puller to remove the flywheel.
