Used Clamp Bracket Needed for 89 6hp 2-Stroke

Not good with boat lingo but standing behind boat it is the bracket at left side of motor. Is just about broken through. New price is anywhere from $80-$125 which I simply refuse to pay. If I can't find a reasonable used one, I am going to try JB Weld and some sort of bolted reinforcement. Drilling and mounting is not an option as this will be a back up motor. This motor in excellent condition is only worth a few hundred bucks. A broken motor mount should not be the end of a good motor just because the part is so ridiculously over priced. Any help or suggestions appreciated.
