Upgrade 90Ho to 115?

I have a 1994 90 HP Evinrude (E90TXARC) and I have recently acquired a 115 HP of the same vintage (Blown Power Head).

Is it just a matter of changing the bubble back and the Carbs for the extra HP?

I believe the 90 HP blocks had smaller intake ports.----Easy to remove a bypass cover on each model to compare.

Filler blocks will have to be installed in exhaust.------And that may / may not require machining for proper gasket fit / sealing.

For what you're going to spend on parts and machine work,you can buy a 115

Why not rebuild the 115 that you have?
