I just rebuilt the carburetor on a 1958 7.5hp evinrude. I had to reuse some of the old parts as not everything in the rebuild kit would work in that carb. When I pump up the full-line fuel tank, there is gas in the bowl on bottom of carb, but it acts like no gas is getting into throat of carb. Should I try squirting some gas/oil mix into throat of carb? Where do I go from here? Ignition has been re-built and there is good spark.
