I am having water quickly getting into oil but running fine.

1. Can one bypass cooling to the exhaust manifold and riser run on some cups out of the water to eliminate the manifolds and risers somehow?

2. Any usual place the blocks crack other than under the exhaust manifolds?

3. Any troubleshooting tips other than just looking @ parts?

4. If I replace the motor with a 5.7 truck engine what Marine Gasket would I want to put in the truck motor?
5. What years motor should I look for?

ain't the mani or riser putting water into the oil. It has to be a internal crack or a head gasket.

Truck engine is the ticket you didn't give the year of the boat, but any 5.7 before 89 i think will due.

Consider this a kit with 2 mani's, 2 risers , and all the gaskets you need besides the head gaskets all in one box under 500 , many webistes.

You boat in saltwater you need a marine head gasket fresh water leave the ones on that came with the motor.

Pull the spark plugs and crank the engine. If water comes out of the plug holes the problem is most likely exhaust/riser related. If not then look for a hole in the intake man., head gaskets or cracked block.
