Trim problem

Trim issues
I have power to trim motor
128 ohms
If I run a jump wire from neg battery post I can drive the OD up at the control throttle
Can’t drive it down with the same process
2005 ssi 236 Volvo Penta 5.7
Any ideas

Ayuh,..... Switch yer meter to dc volts,.... ohms ain't what you need,......

Start by cleaning to shiny metal, both ends of both battery cables,......

At the control, or the wires goin' to it at the pump, you should have 12v on the red wire,.....
With the Up switch, there should be 12v on the blue wire,.....
With the Down switched, there should be 12v on the green wire,.....

It sounds like corroded wires/ cables, 'n no ground,....

Diagnose, find what's bad, then fix or replace,.....
