Trim on throttle take off to gauge

My trim control is mounted on my Mercury throttle, is there a way to tap into the wiring to add a trim gauge with my other gauges? Do I need to purchase the wiring kit from Mercury to make it work? Would like to tap off existing wiring setup. 2003 75hp 0T787481.

If there is no trim sensor on the engine you have to purchase the sender kit.And no you cant tap into the wiring on the control.
