trying to find info on aligning and adjusting trailer bunks for 16' tinboat....trailer is from another boat and i'm not sure where to have weight of boat riding.

"Bruce, you want to keep the boat as low as possible on the trailer so that gravity keeps it from falling off in a turn.

Having said that, the main (or outer bunks) if you like are usually set as close to the outer chine (point where the sides meet the bottom of the boat) as possible without having the keel (or keelson) touch the frame of the trailer..."

1),.. Don't try to load the center keel rollers,..
They're there to guide the boat on,+ to avoid running into the axles,+ cross members when loading...

2),.. Personally,from experince,...
I believe that 10% to 15% tongue weight gives a Better, Safer ride, without the Tail trying to wag the dog..."
