Hello. I recently bought a tohatsu mfs6c. Its 2017, but I dont know how many hours does it have. The problem is, when running at idle, the rmps jumping and droping between 1200-1400 sometimes more. When it drops, the engine does bump, because of the low rpms. Sometimes it is hard to start it, sometimes it takes 1 pull, sometimes 6. Another thing I noticed, sometimes it is very hard to pull the starter, but after slowly pulling it out, the second pull is very light and lost of the time motor fires right up. Also, when I pull the throttle faster, it almost dies, but then procceeds to go. TRIED:
2 new spark plugs.
Cleaning the carburetor in carb cleaner and ultrasonic cleaner.
Connected the fuel straight to carb.
Adjusted the valve clearance.
Checked thermostat.
Tried adjusting the carb.
