Tips for dropping the LU and renewing the impeller?

Fairly simple one I hope.... two years on our new lower unit* and I reckon its's time to change the impeller which is a new job to me!

I do have the service manual but you guys sometimes have better info!
So far the engine is in neutral I've got all the bolts loosened a bit (and have removed the one under the skeg/fin) and the lower unit will move ....... before I take it off, are there any tips or tricks to make this go smoothly and without pain?

* The last one ate itself within 3 hours of us getting the boat - and it had just had an oil change (this is partly why I decided to do my own servicing where possible)

Doh.... 225 :)

Just watched the Captain Sean video in YouTube which seems to cover pretty much everything, but any other tips would be gratefully accepted.
