Time to give up on this lower unit? (Evinrude 5.5)

Man, I was really thinking I had a small win coming at me. Had been working on lower unit on this ‘61 5.5. Went through some trials and tribulations and thought I finally had it but nope. Pressure test suggests a leak just can’t quite understand where. Air comes out of the water intake plate and seem to be coming from up above somewhere. Shaft seal and shifter rod seal where just replaced. What the heck??? Wondering if there is a crack in housing somewhere that can’t be reached. See video below.

I think I figured it out. Didn't apply bellows sealer properly around ALL mating surfaces on underside of piece below waterpump that mates with gearcase. Will let it sit for a few hours and pressure test it again.
