Hello,
Is there an easy way (reset switch on indicator panel??) to set the tilt / trim indicator to show the correct numbers as described in the VP owner's manual (12 = limit of trim, 45 = limit of tilt) without disconnecting the steering helmet from the drive.
The tilt / trim system functions well i.e. the override switch has to be used when the limit are reached and the red and green LEDs work ok. It's just the LCD numbers that do not correspond. This is due to the gear on the indicating sensor not being rotatated properly when the drive had been re assembled to the transom shield and the steering helmet bolted on.
