TAMD40 Oil pressure drops, will not idle.

I was running my boat when I noticed the oil pressure drop to near zero. I pulled the throttle back and the engine died. After it cooled off, It started and ran fine. 10 to 15 minutes later oil pressure dropped again. Pulled throttle back and stalled. No knocking or overheating. Is there something in the oil cooler that regulates pressure that can cause this?

Are you losing oil? If not, and the oil pressure is suddenly dropping rather than slowly creeping down, I would suspect the pressure relief valve on your oil pump is sticking or similar.
