Swapping Outboards

This may have been posted before, but I could not find it with a search.

Will the control cables and wiring match when swapping from a 175 hp to a 200 hp? Or do I have to pull and rerun all from the motor I wish to install? Thanks... Adios

should be a directswap unless 175 is pre 1980
