Hello all, I'm really hoping someone can help here. I have a 2015 Suzuki DF250 that is experiencing a consistent RPM jump of 50 to 250 RPM’s, as seen on the SMG4 gauge. There is no real noticeable difference in actual engine speed it just fluctuates consistently at idle from 50-100 rpm’s and progressively gets worse as the rpm’s increase, it could jump 250 at 5000 rpm. Also when it happens it is happening in milliseconds, up and down. So far we have checked or replaced plugs, MAP, all fuel filters including the VST filter, inlet air temp sensor, batteries, vacuum lines, vacuum switch, all electrical connections on engine, batteries and gauge,
We have had several marine mechanics try and troubleshoot with no luck. If anyone has experienced this issue and can provide any insight on what could be causing these RPM fluctuations it would be much appreciated.
