Will be using a modified twin vee 32' to haul six passengers and captain on whale watching tours in Alaska. Have twin 225 Hondas and expect the boat to weigh about 12,000 loaded.
Current props are Power Tech M2000 FX3 R17P Have determined that is 15.25" diameter with 17" pitch. They are sharply raked and have cupped ends and not a real round profile.
Website says they are for high speed boats and flats boats, '" good grip."
Am looking for props that the engines will turn up to proper rpm and cruise the boat at an easy 20-24 knots at about 4000 rpm without running into vtech mode for best economy.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
