Stuck Spark plugs

I have a 1994 Four Winns 278 Vista. I am doing maintenance on the starboard engine. I changed the cap and rotor and am attempting to change the spark plugs. I was able to change 7 out of 8 but can not get one out. The inside 4 plugs, 3rd from the front. I can get the socket on it but can not get a tool on the socket to remove the plug. Any ideas?? The engines are volvo pentas with Ford Blocks, 5.0 EFI V8, I/O.

I recall that with certain brands of exhaust manifolds installed on V8 Ford engines not every deep socket can properly reach some of the spark plugs (especially sockets with thick walls). You may have to try with a different brand/type of socket & ratchet than the one you are using now.
