So I have a 1982 Mariner 90hp inline 6 2-stroke on my pontoon boat.
When I first got it running it was running decent
So when I took it to the water it was going ok it just wouldn’t throttle up all the way it would just Bog down. So I figured it just needed a little bit of carb toning, so I was playing with the air screws, but it wasn’t changing anything. And then the next day when I took it to the water, it wouldn’t even start and now it’s having a hard time starting I can only get it started on starting fluid. But when it is running it seems like it runs great!
I went through all three of the carburetors again to make sure there is nothing blocking anything and there was not. I put a new set of plugs in it to check compression. It has spark, and all six cylinders. Now I’m stumped I have no idea what’s wrong with it!!
