spark plug wires

Some can, some can't. We have no idea what motor you have. I'd suggest starting over agian and put make and HP and year in the subject line. Most of us read about problems with motors that we know something about. For instance, I'm a Johnson, Evinrude and Yamaha guy. I read and respond to most threads for these motors.

Both links have the same engine code 02004 but start at serial # 030001, yours is 10028. Both links cover 2000 not 2001. Notice the “boots” (on the second link) where the plug wire inserts into the coil, if you have those “boots” on your plug wires then I would GUESS you can replace the plug wires. If your ignition looks like the first link then I’d GUESS not. Both links have OEM part numbers, if you can find corresponding part numbers on your CDI that might help. Good luck.
